I'm having a problem with the turntable in the mircowave. I doesn't turn anymore. Is there a problem with the moter on this model or can someone help me. Also I was wondering if there should be alight in it. It is a Magic Chef model in a 1998 Southwind.

Your best bet is to go the Magic Chef site with the model number from the unit. There should be a tag inside the door with the model information. The manual on the unit should also have a help line phone number.

Some models have lights, some do not. Also, the drive motor for the turn table can go out.

My magic chef microwave had a simular problem. The turntable, light and fan stopped working.

If I slammed the door really hard they would all come on together.

Check and see if your fan is working because you dont want to overheat it.
