Motorcycle jack for reefer install

I'm replacing my leaking Dometic reefer with a Summit apartment sized reefer (when it arrives). Has anyone tried a motorcycle jack for the removal/install? Seems like the lift and casters are just about right and the jack is $100 versus about $30 for building a fixed-height wooden platform. Thoughts ??

The shop where I had my fridge replaced used something similar to take out the NotSoCold fridge before installing my Samsung RF197 residential fridge.

Thanks for the pic ... I like the wooden platform as a base. I was thinking plywood for mine since it's only 26" wide/deep and shouldn't have much overhang.

I built a platform out of scrap, added castors, cost about $12. Installed a Samsung RF197. Thought I would never use it again. Wrong, it was very handy to remove the unit for cleaning.

Considering that but my scraps are now in the recycle center so my cost is a bit higher. I'm thinking the jack "may" wind up being handy for the GenSet .... also thinking I may find a used one on craigslist. Also thinking the jack allows a very small dead lift into/out-of the bed of my Geo Tracker. I'm sure either the jack or wooden unit will be used more than once .... sigh.
