Unhappy Motorhome Extend Warranty Coverage

Saw a link for this thread but it was back in 2010 and links weren't working.

I have had GS extended coverage for less than 2 yrs on a 2005 Granite Ridge. The AC went out this summer. GS doesn't cover "obsolete" part upgrade. Really disappointed their coverage was less than a third of the cost!
Why do you carry extended coverage when I get stuck with a 2k bill including a $500. Deductible

Anyone have other suggestions that have good coverage and repair shops don't grimace at their name? Really would like your input.

Sorry about your bad luck with Good Sam. Well, bad luck for you but pretty much predictable for Good Sam.

Contact the folks at Wholesale Warrantees. They are a broker, but they have a solid reputation for operating with ethics and integrity.

When we bought the current coach, 07 Itasca Horizon DP, it was in great shape but unfortunatelyI couldn't get detailed past service records. I purchased a 2 year, chassis and house, service plan. I understood the limitations and exclusions and have used it once so far. Repair slides valves, dishwasher, inverter. I have a $100 deductible so my bill was $100 plus shipping for the parts needed. Next week she goes in for round 2, and I expect the same results. Next summer when this expires I likely won't renew the policy since I now have confidence in the systems as a whole and my servicing is very thorough.

We were quite pleased with the Camping World extended service plan. They have now changed the plan, limiting coverage to 7 years of age.
The CW service dept. would have me keep a list of things to be repaired under the ESP, and when I made an appt., I would give the service writer the list. This counted as one claim, meaning I only paid one $50 deductible for all covered items repaired/replaced.
We now have a Good Sam ESP, which is not nearly as good (IMO) as the CW ESP was; but our MH is now too old for the CW policy requirements.
