because I bought a portable air compressor to carry along in the RV so I wouldn't have to spend time finding gas stations where the air pump was "RV accessible". I thought about telling her that it was a little over-board insisting that we have sheets for the RV beds but I didn't use my "outside voice" to say it.
Anyone else carry a portable air compressor?

I think you are going to find quite a few respondents who opt to carry an extra portable compressor. Several of my friends do... many because some of our coaches require the front tires to carry 120 lbs or more of air, and that is not easily done even when there is an onboard compressor. Although most portables are small, they develop high compression necessary to fill the tires.

I carry a compressor also,and have done so in the last 3 rv's!

I will be investing in a CO2 tank system. I have talked to several people who have them and love them. It is especially frustrating for us as we often go from North to South and back again in the winter. Going back again is when I need to air up because of the coolng air.
I will say that having a Pressure Pro system sure educates in a hurry on how tire pressure fluctuates in all conditions.

Never leave home without it. Porter Cable 150 psi pancake with 25 foot extension power cord and 50 foot air hose.And also never leave home without my America Express card.

Black and Decker bought out Porter Cable some time ago so both are true.
I carry a 3 gallon model from Harbor Freight.

I have a B&D that we've carried for almost 20 years. But I'm now questioning why do this since I have a spiggot off of the chassis air system.

Just got a compresor!
Also hate the sheets the wife insists on using, including the girls fold down dinette & jacknife!
IMO - Sleeping Bags  Easy to throw out & Easy to roll-up.
