I found a switch located in my '85 Coachmen Classic on the panel under the queen bed in the back. There is an E written in sharpie on it. When running on the truck battery the switch does nothing. Haven't tried it plugged in yet. This was obviously added aftermarket. Here are a couple of pictures.

Engine block heater. Often it is just a plug and cord left loose in the engine bay but if used often, the original owner might have wired it in permanently
