Cute thread!

Our B+ was "The Short Bus". We were both in education.

The Class A gasser was "Da Bus". We never could think of anything else.

We haven't purchased our next one. Yet. (getting closer though!) The current owner says her daughter calls it the BAC (Big A** Coach) but DH came up with BABS (Big A** BusS).

People name boats, why not name an RV?

Names

Can't believe I have not seen anyone name their's Breaking Bad.
Personnally I'd stay away from it only due to the fact we cross the border frequently.
I'll stick with GRAPEESCAPE 4

I always liked "Costalota". A friend of mine came up with this one.

One of the biggest tow companies in Madison WI has long operated "Costalota" and "Costalota II". For what they spent on these you could buy a new Prevost.

My wife, kids and I recently decided to name our coach, 2009 Fleetwood Excursion 40x. We decided against the traditional naming style of boats and rigs, we settled on Chuck. We love this coach and it is perfect for our family. In fact we all agreed the coach is an extension of our family, thus the proper name. Chuck it is...

Our first rig was a Class A repo gasser Itasca. We threw tons of money at her trying to get her driving civilized, but she never acquiesced. She was christened BOB for Big Ol Bit@h.

We sold her and bought a Class A Monaco Knight that had better handling. She was classy but still not the "last coach." Her name was Mona. I miss Mona.

A few weeks ago we traded Mona off or a new Entegra. This is our new "last coach". Her name is Peaches. We bought her in Georgia and it fits. She's a smooth southern gal. I like Peaches. She drives like a dream.

Good luck naming your coach. I agree that something that costs more than a college degree deserves a name. At some point it becomes personal. It might as well be with a good friend you can call by name.

Naming your RV

Our 1 st Rv was an older one and a bit rough. We called it "The Rollin Turd"

My wife just named ours last night by accident. "Why don't you go pick up Arvy," she asked. She knew instantly that she found a name she liked.

Two months ago we bought a 2010 Tiffin Allegro FRED,which we enjoy very much. Needless to say my wife, who names all of our cars, came up with the unique and clever moniker-FRED. We even have custom plates engraved with OURFRED. When we get a toad vehicle we probably won't spend much time coming up with a name for that either.
