We just signed the papers for our new to us class A Winnebago sightseer 29r. We never have a name for our first RV so this one for sure needed one. This morning we have come up with what we think a perfect name. Desert Drifter. We live in the desert and most trips will be drifting from Az to Tx through NM.

I see a country western song in the works for that name.

It's been used before, but we call ours the "COW" (Condo On Wheels) because it is a big, lumbering beast. And for other reasons... \ken

Our first RV was a partially converted 1982 Dodge van. It was big enough to sleep in and that was about it. I can't remember which of us came up with "Dodge Lodge" but the name stood right out in big letters on the bug catcher. Fast forward to 4 years ago and a real MH, a 2000 Winnebago Adventurer. That was "Harry". Now we have the Grey Goose, a 2011 Greyhawk. Haven't been able to come up with anything better. Yes, we do name all of our vehicles.

[QUOTE=1kycamper;2135561]We've had 5 different RV's in 5 years. And no, we didn't have a mental evaluation prior to this journey. Probably should have. It just happened that way. Our first was a tag-a-long, then two fifth wheels, a fifth wheel toy hauler, and finally a class A MH. I read somewhere you should buy your last RV first. Wish we had heeded that advice but have learned a lot along the way and in a short time. Anyway, when we bit the bullet to buy our class A, I told hubby it was the last one so I named "her" LOIS......Last One I Swear. Even had a license plate made for the front with that printed on it. Wish I had a photo to post. RV owners have to have a sense of humor. Our new RV is a 2014 Winnebago Forza 38R. Just picked it up a few weeks ago and are working out the bugs. Nothing major so far....a cracked quick connect on the DEF line which was quickly diagnosed and fixed but other than that just some minor things. So far pretty happy with it. Like the floor plan, flex-a-bed system, and the second bathroom. Liked one camper's name in previous post......Wheel Estate.....clever.[/QUOTE

We didn't have a name for our coach until a few weeks ago. That's when Donna took the wheel for the first time and drove "Big Al." I posted about it here.

We're new to motorhomes, but the first thing I thought of driving it is that it drove just like I imagined a Greyhound Bus would drive. Since our motorhome is mostly brown, it's the "Brownhound".
