These are epic. How much does he want for it? They MSRP well into the 300's.

It was a Force model, under $200K. I think it had the 6.7 Cummins.

No one has mentioned...there are weight class 5, 6, 7, and 8 truck based Super Class C's.
Class 5 is the F550, Ram5500, IH TerraStar, etc. = 16,000-19,500lb GVWR.
Class 6 is Kodiak/Topkick/F650, Freightliner M2, IH DuraStar, etc. = 19,501-26,000lb GVWR.
Class 8 is the HDT based models like KW, Peterbilt, etc. = at or exceeding 33,001lb GVWR.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truck_classification
Shopping should show that Class 5 Diesel powered Super C's are in the gas Class A price point.
The sky is the limit for the higher weight class chassis'...but I have seen that the equal weight capacity Class A will typically have a higher price point.
Plus, these RV's really seem to hold their resale value.
Best luck

FREIGHTLINER M2 34,300 LB. GVWR CHASSIS
Maybe the M2 is a class 7 ??

@scarab big help.
So I assume then the Thor Four Winds and Jayco Seneca would be class 5 while the Nexus, Dynamax Force are more like 6 and then the Dynamax DX3 and a few others are the 7's.
So here is the question without me actually driving them yet. Other than towing capacity (10k to 20k) does the heavier duty (class 6/7) drive differently than the 5's? Because I have an entry level class A gasser my RV drives like a rattle can.

From personal experience going from a Class 5 to 7 the extra weight helps with how the rig handles.
it's more solid going down the road, doesn't get pushed around as easily by winds or passing semi's.
more of a solid feel.

The M2 is built in Class 6 and 7. It's all in the way it is ordered by the RV builder.

The Thor Motor Coach FourWinds and duplicate Chateau Super C's are class 5.
The Nexus Phantom is class 5.
Forest River's Dynamax Isata-5 is class 5.
The Nexus Ghost is class 6.
Forest River's Force is Class 6.
Jayco's Seneca is Class 6.
Forest River's DX3 and Dynaquest is class 7.
About the ride...It is day and night to compare a gas Class A to one of these RV's. You should really test drive one you like. The cab is a purpose built truck (not the front of the living room), the engine and steering is out in front (like a typical pick-up), the suspension is typically air-ride (not leaf spring)...it is just VERY different.
The ride difference between these Super C chassis classes will be less obvious. The higher GVWR is a function of the unloaded RV weight. To me, the Class 5 seemed to drive better than the big class 7's by a "seat of the pants" test. YMMV.
Best luck

Not in my experience, the class 7 handles alot better than my old class 5.
My .02

Possibly a function of the progression of time and technology?
e.g.: 06 Gulfstream Conquest Super C - 6340 8.1 Gas vs. 17 Renegade Verona 36 VSB (Cummins ISL/Freightliner M2)
The new F550, Ram5500, and TerraStar are really capable, good riding chassis.
But the discussion is probably moot given the price point differences. Few buyers will actually be selecting from between these class 5 or class 7 RV's over ride, due to difference in amenities.
Best luck to the OP.

Guys this is really good info and appreciate it.
I think, certainly challenge me if you think I am wrong, we would be just fine from a towing 6k lb perspective with any class 5 or higher. Seems that all those brands Scarab mentions will be a sufficient towing machine.
Then it looks like we need to choose between floor plan, amenities we want and quality of finish. Can the wife and I fall in love with a lower level (quality of finish) vs. one that is higher end. Our Class A is on the lower level side.

Oops another question. Engine braking capabilities? A sales guy (take that for what it is worth) said you want a Super C for sure with engine braking capability for when you are towing. True? Do all these have that?
Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I think this only applies to Diesel engines, it is an awesome feature in my current rig, but the gasser gulfstream didn't have it.
Also watch the real world carry capacity, I know I was probably over the GVW of the Kodiak and that 'should' reduce the towing capacity.
I could have easily stayed within 10K towing but fell in love with renegades.
I don't think I'm even at GVW WITH my tow car, nice to have that capacity weight wise.

I know one of my MAJOR hurdles is the no oven in many Super C's. Our toy hauler had convection, the current rig has an oven. The wife uses it A LOT.
