I got great service from Tekris Power in Farmingdale, NJ (near the shore). When I called with questions, Chris asked what inverter/charger model I had, called Dimensions for me and confirmed it would handle the 4-6volts. When I picked them up today, he looked through the Dimensions manual and changed the settings to charge the 6-volts properly and also gave me new cables to convert 2 - 6 volts to a 12 volt.

I got a ton of dry camping across the country and in Yosemite in April so I'll see how they hold their charge.

in sep 2008, i installed 2 gpl 6ct lifeline 300 ah batteries on their sides in my original battery box.
the lifelines are 13 1/4'' tall. they replaced 2 12v deka marine batteries in parallel, about 190 ah capacity.
i can dry camp for 1 day+ using the propane furnace, 750w inverter for tv's, lights, and 12v electric mattress warmer, etc without deep cycling the batteries. i don't want to run them below 12.1 volts. i figure that i am using about 150 ah of their 300 ah capacity.
concorde manufactures lifeline batteries.
check this resource, these batteries are way too expensive not to properly take care of them.
