I would push for the warranty fix but need to know how they intend to fix. May be worse then current condition.

Bottom line is to file the claim and have it in the process. Do not let it lapse.

I had an engine issue with a Ford Chassis, in shop of +3 months during initial warranty period. I requested an extension and was denied. Guess what, had another problem just out of warranty that was denied. After 4 more claims Ford rep said if they would have known they could have assisted (even though I filed the claims). Don't trust what they say, document everything with names and dates.

Status Update

The service department recommended getting it fully replaced. Apparently they have someone that can do a really good job and they said we will be pleased. We take our coach back for "final" warranty servicing in October (after our warranty is expired), but it's already been approved. When we get our coach back I'll give a final update. Thank you for the feedback everyone. Nookaroos : 0

Great news; Floor replacement done and looks great

We just got our coach back after having the flooring replaced. It looks terrific. It probably helped that they only had to do the galley and not the bedroom / bathroom area since they're both up a small step.

Thank you for your support

Just for future reference…

Can I ask who THEY are? The service department at your dealer did this work? Or did the dealer job it out to a specialist contractor and oversee the work?

If it was the dealer, who were they?

You may want to leave a review here about the dealer for other future FR folks looking for repairs or warranty work.

Glad it worked out for you.

RV Solutions in San Diego

The work was done in house by RV Solutions in San Diego. They're a small dealership and they're very busy so it can be difficult to get an appointment. They aren't always as responsive as we'd prefer (due to being so busy), but they do good work, they're very pleasant, and we think they're worth the wait.

I left a review at the suggested link. I'd never heard of the sight before and we don't have yelp so this was a good suggestion.

I don't think I would take that chance for $500 fix.
$500??? In what parallel universe?
