As per this info If your Rig or Rig and Towed is over 24,250 Lbs you need a Class 'D' license.

If your Towed is over 10,140 Lbs you need a Class 'A' License.

That is what it says but, the first thing that is pointed out is that if the license of the driver is legal in their residence location (ie, in my case, I am a resident of Georgia) then they will consider the operator as being legal (this is commonly called a reciprocal agreement).

Out of curiosity, do you know what it was before? I thought I had checked in the past and thought that any RV was fine (except for air brake endorsement if required) with a regular 'G' class.
