Well, the black hose failed too - right at the brass fitting. Expensive, not worth it. Keep the box if you hope to return it.

The green one we got from CW burst in less than 2 weeks. Got a DAP from Ace Hardware to replace it a month ago - so far - so good. There is a clear warning on the box "Do not use for drinking water. Do not drik water from this hose."

I bought 2 black DAP ones with the brass fittings. Both burst in the middle. They sent replacements under warranty and one of them broke too. I've got a spare pressure regulator for the TT so I'm going to try that next time I use the remaining one.

The Black DAP one that I bought from Bed Bath & Beyond is going back based on the negative feedback I have read.

I am not even going to try and put water through it.

That's the problem with them, Ha Ha. Water runs through them all over the place.

I bought one, loved it. Next weekend I bought three more. All burst within a few days.

The black hose by DAP with the brass ends has worked really well for us. I also use it for the black tank and washing the MH. I usually don't leave it under pressure when I'm done with it. That may be the difference. What a joy to store. Have used it all summer and so far....so good!

I think it's a tire inner tube inside of the nylon outer shell. I had one of those earlier flat roll them up in a small size hoses a few years back, the biggest issue I had is that unlike a normal hose that you can leave coiled up, you have to unroll the entire hose in order to use it because the water is what expands it. When I hook up I leave my hose coiled up some so I don't trip over it in the dark (or day for that matter), but you wouldn't be able to do that with one of these hoses.
