New mattress?

My Motor home has a short queen mattress and it is horribly uncomfortable for me. Where is the place to look for replacement mattress considering price and quality?

I don't think Sam's Club carries short queen mattresses. Our prior rv (a 5-r) had a short queen that was uncomfortable & we shopped Sam's Club, Costco, Matress Mart & all the department stores but none carried short queens. We ended up getting a 3" memory foam topper (cut it down with the electric kitchen knife) & added a featherbed-style mattress cover over that. It made a big difference. We didn't want to pay CW's or any of the other specialty mattress store prices for the odd size either, so the topper & poofy cover did the trick.

We did the same thing and it was a lot more comfortable.

Another vote for a foam topper

We also had a hard-as-rock king in our new Bounder. Bought a 3" topper off ebay for ~$100. We love the combo and now prefer our RV bed over our home bed.

Our kids love the bed so much they begged me for foam tops for their home beds. We all pile into our back bedroom to watch movies when we are camping, and the kids lay back there and play video games and watch movies when we drive.

I also have a full size queen that replaces the short. You should consider going to full queen. It isn't that much bigger.

I thought RV mattress sizes were different (smaller) and maybe some are, but I measured the queen mattress, and it is: 60" wide x 80" long just as it should be.

Speaking of sleep number beds... I'm with RickO... I would like to replace the Sleep Number with a quality Queen Mattress and toss the Sleep Number out-the-window

I had a very uncomfortable original equipment mattress that I improved by getting one of those three inch toppers from Costco. I find it very comfortable and I think it saved me alot of money by not having to replace it with a whole new mattress.

What is wrong with the sleep numer bed? They are an option in many new coaches.

We looked at all the options to fix the rock hard bed in our new to us 1994 Southwind. Ended up with a 4" topper from WalMart (half memory foam, half polyurethane.) The bed is a short queen, the topper is a regular queen... walmart style... it fits very well, hangs about an inch over. It would probably be short on a regular queen. With everything we want to do to this 16 year old MH, a $125 solution for the bed was a welcome solution.
