We had a new Magic Chef 16" stove/range installed. I have had many stoves in the past but none that reacts like this one. When you turn the burner off it does a LOUD poof! I know gas has a poof when turning off but never loud that I invision the pop blowing off the burner. The service manager at Camping World says this is normal. This loud has never been normal in the past.

Anyone else experience this with the new ones?

Hi,

Don't worry. My Magic Chef is 10 years old and I frequently notice the popping sound when I turn off a burner. Not every time, but often enough that I don't get concerned.
