new stuff for mh

after spending the past couple of months in fla. we are heading back north with some nice additions to mh. this past monday we had mcd interior shades installed along with a power shore cord reel. boy! i don't know how we got along without them. (especially the mcd's) also installed a aero turbine muffler along with an afe air filter. i have no idea yet on any gain with those items but the muffler shure looks and sounds good the sad part of this deal is we need to start heading home to mi. but were going the long way through LA. (thats lower alabama )need to stop and say hi to rex jimsue

Where did you have the work done? I did the afe air filter and aero muffler last Oct at Brazel's.
I feel like I have picked up some HP and definitely 1/2 to 1 mpg. You are correct it does sound awesome.

Jim & Sue,
We know how you feel about returning North -- we drug our feet all the way home! We're thinking about delaying our return trip next year to the middle of April.

Yep, we recently had the MCD shades done at MCD in McKinney, TX. They certainly are a huge improvement. The cord reel I already had but after having it that's another must-have item. That, and the water hose reel.
