New Tool, New Toy

I have been concerned about the condition of the serpentine belt on my rear radiator DP. As built, it is virtually impossible to get a good view of the belt to inspect it. While looking at a sales ad for tools, I noticed a Digital Inspection Camera (Bore Scope) and thought that might be just what I needed to examine the belt. Harbor Freight has one on sale for @$70.00, I picked one up and it serves the purpose very well. I checked the belt, pulleys and the back side of the charge air cooler (CAC) with very little effort and was satisfied with what I saw. The belt still looks like new, no cracks, hardening or chunking off on the belt ribs. Years ago I extended the 'slobber tube' to the rear bumper area, the CAC is clean and dry. This new tool/toy will come in handy for inspecting many of the hard to access locations on the MH among other things.

, for a great idea. Others may have done something similar, but this is the first post I've seen on this. Now I know what to ask for for my birthday...wait that's to far away. Need a plan to get one sooner.
