I just bought a 1998 Seaview with 18K mile and 66 hour on the Gen. I bought it from a repo company and was told everything works. I can not get the leveling jacks to power up even with the coach running and the parking brake on. I took it to Camping World and they lookat it but told me they did not know anything about this system. Thanks in advance.

Welcome Team Dutton to irv2.
What is the name of system? You should check all ground connections to chassis frame and they may have a fuse holder to motor. Check the battery lead to pump if you have one or all battery & ground connections to jacks if they are electric.
If you have HWH make sure you have hydraulic fluid in tank with pump.
Let us know how you make out.

It is a Kwikee 2000 series level best jacks. I have looked a couple of thing and still no luck. I unplugged the control panel(telephone style plug). I need to track down the fuse. There is a Red wire under the dash with a fuse and a blue one with a fuse but it has been cut off. I wish i had a wiring diagram.

You can get Level Best documentation HERE. The installation manual ought to have some clues about wiring and such.

Parts list here:

National RV was using Power Gear levelers. Make sure your house batterey switch in on. If the parking brake switch is stuck the levelers will not work.

Make sure the parking brake is on. Press power on switch on the keyboard. If no lights on then no power applied. There is a resetable breaker located behind the chassis fuse panel located in the right front outside storage compartment. ( breaker is hard to locate). Mine tripped once and I had no jack operation until I reset the breaker.

Once owned that same unit, kwikee service instructed me to change the power cable from the house battery to the chassis(starting) battery. They said the jack system did not like power from battery being turned on and off. Did that and never had any more trouble after that. Had it for four more years after it would not operate one day when it was two years old. They instructed me once I touched the cable to the battery bolt it on right then, which I did.

Good luck, Richard
