My mountainaire has developed a squeaky entry door. Today I whipped out the silicon spray and thoroughly doused the hinges and now it probably squeaks worse. The DW whipped out the Pam with the same result.
Any suggestions from the experts?
Thanks

Hi Dave,
The penetrating oil may not have worked into where it will do some good. How about one of you lift up on the lower left corner of the door while the other person sprays the hinge(s).

I had the same thing, squeaky entry door. 2 raps of black elec. tape around the latch will fixed it. Has not squeked in 3 years.

Hi Dave,
luckychucky's post makes me ask, is the squeak when opening and closing the door or while going down the road?

If after you silicone everything and it still squeaks... look at the latch. I had to adjust mine to tighten it up a tad. You might check out Max Hubrich's free door striker at my web site Door Strike Upgrade

Is it screen door rubbing on the weather seal?
Tighten door stop. OR Put some talc powder on a rag and rub into the weatherstrip.

There is another possibility. My KSDP also has a squeeky front door. It seems to be from the weather stripping rubbing against the door frame. An easy way to check is to apply some liquid soap to the seal and listen for any difference.
Happy RVing - Darrel

Thanks for all the great ideas and comments. Either the silicone finally woked or the door stopped squeaking on its own. Anyway problem solved for now.
