Headed for Bayfield Wi on Friday for the Madeline Island Inline skate marathon on Saturday. Hoping for good weather for the race. My wife and I are being joined by some friends in their Winne also. Last year we skated in the rain. If you are in the area, we are staying at the Apostle Island Area Campground near Bayfield. It is a fun event to watch. If you can skate you can do one time around the island (8.7 miles) or 2 x around, or the whole marathon. Search for Madeline Island Inline online if you are interested, you can still sign up.

Your weekend is definitely going to be more fun than mine! I've targeted next weekend to give our coach it's annual scrub and hand waxing. It's the weekend that my kids curse me over ... and when I have pull out the receipts for all the stuff I ended up covering them for over the previous year. You'd think they'd understand how quid pro quo works without me having to explain it so explicitly!!!!
