I own a 2011 Itasca Sunstar 35F and I just recently put a movie DVD in the dashboard located DVD (Jenson) player. This unit is supposed to play the audio either to the TV speaker or the lounge speakers. I can only get the audio to play on the lounge speakers, which is kind of a weird way to listen to the TV audio. Also the "electric sensor" located below the TV does not respond to the remote control unit. It is very irritating to have to point the remote control unit to the front of the coach to adjust anything on the DVD player. I was wondering if anybody out there has experienced this problem. It seems like some wires may not be connected but I have no idea how to get at the back of the flat screen TV (located in the mid section of the motorhome) or the back of the Jensen DVD player located in the dash.

You need to place a remote sensor near the the tv that works the dvd. Mine is an eye on the wall above the tv and then there is a receiver on the dvd player IR port to receive the signal.
Can't help you with the sound issue.

Something similar to this will allow you to point the remote at the TV and operate the dvd player that is behind you.

Your coach operators manual (page 8-2) says audio output selection is a TV menu selection, not a Jensen DVD menu selection. However, control of the audio level is a DVD function.
On pdf page 4 of the wiring diagram for your unit ( http://www.winnebagoind.com/diagram/...ire_174381.pdf), it indicates you have a Impact Acoustics 40430 Infrared Repeater ( Infrared (IR) Remote Control Repeater Kit - Cables To Go). 12VDC power must be on to it and the IR repeater module (emitter) must be in a location the DVD emitter can see it.

Thank you very much for your response to my question. I actually have an remote sensor right by the TV but it is not responsive to the remote control. It is beginning to look more and more like there is a loose connection or it never got hooked up to begin with.
