No crank generator

Hey, I have a 1998 bounder with a chev 454 and a 6.5 onan genset 3. This rig had sat for about 7 years. I drained all gas, changed filters in the 454 and the oil filter and oil and plugs in generator. The generator used to turn over but since I cleaned all the electrical connections, the generator won't turn over. The electric fuel pump will run till it pressures up but the the generator won't turn over. Is there a fuse or something I missed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. According to the serial numbers I gave to Fleetwood mine is a 1988 with fiberglass siding.

If the generator worked before you cleaned the connections them check each connection that you cleaned to be sure the connections are making contact. Also check the wiring to each connection.

Make certain that you have a good 12 volt supply to the generator; even if you have to connect a jump box to it. If it still will not turn over, you will need to start diagnosis starting at the switch to starter solenoid to starter.

Hey thanks. I guess start at the begining and work to generator. Sometimes we get in a hurry and don't look at the obvious.
