No personal experience but have heard that opening a remote hot faucet will help. Also that is pretty high as I have read you shouldn't even turn on the cold water to "mix" with the hot, just adjust your set point and use only the hot.
Hope that helps. Good Luck.

Check your hot water tank valves and make sure they are open. There is generally a valve that let's you fill the tank and another to let water out of the tank to the faucet

You said "no instant hot water", then "no hot water".
1st, is you water heater working at all? If not, is the switch for 110v on if you are on shore power? Is it on LP if not on shore power.
2nd, if you feel heat from the heater and very little or only warm water? Check the valves and make sure that the flow valves are open and the bypass is closed. One or more of these valves maybe hidden. Your owners manual will probably be of help.
Was this not addressed / checked during your PDI?
Setting your thermostat at 124 will lead to your running out of hot water quickly. RV water heaters are usually set higher to reduce the amount of hot water needed for a task and avoid running out as quickly.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
Congrats on the new rig! Not familiar with that rig so I won't offer advice. Keep her between the ditches!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I am going to assume you have a Girard GSWH-2 Tankless Water Heater. For the water heater to function you basically need greater than 11.5 volts and 45 psi water pressure and sufficient gas pressure. For water pressure, you can not have any air within your water lines, the pump should not pulsate. If your connected to city water you need greater than 45 psi. The recommended temperature setting is 115F. As others have said, you should have been shown the operation at your PDI. Manuals are available at the Girard site "greenrvproducts" You can have error codes on your remote display, and the error codes are available in the user manual.
Plus, just to be clear the hot water is not instant out of the tap. You have to let the cold water in the lines from the tank to the tap to clear, before you get hot water. Good luck.
