When I was riding my Harley around one time, I noticed an MH that looked exactly like mine - same brand, length, color, etc.

I'd probably invite this owner inside my mh (and hopefully me inside his) just to see what kind of mods were made and share info about different issues and ideas.

Now days, you can move in to a neighborhood and live there for years and never go inside all the neighbors houses. Why would you expect it to be different in an RV? People are more and more getting antisocial. I think that technology makes us less able to interact with others.

On the other hand, as I have gotten older and am retired, I enjoy my privacy and quite. I have to admit, sometimes I really enjoy it better when it is just me and the DW. After 40 years, we have grown familiar with each other being around. But you through three or four grandkids and parents into the RV, I love it when they are all gone.

You never met my wife, just say "nice coach" and you're invited inside. At times I've thought about selling tickets

I enjoy people. Most folks in the RV world seem to be friendly and outgoing. It is rare to find someone that is not interested in a few pleasantries. A nice hi or hello or a complement has always elicited some kind of response. I like to brighten someone's day if I can.

OMG that is my wife also. She has even given the nickle tour to a lady she met while fueling up at a Pilot station.

You are welcome inside ours anytime (and we haven't even met you - yet )

BTW - My money is on the guess presented by TXiceman.

Home is home, no matter where.

Back in the S&B hood, we mostly talked and visited out in the yard. At times, some folks were curious about a new floor or addition and such things.

Out here, we mostly talk and visit outside and some folks are in the RV selection process or just curious.

And a party is a party, no matter where.

So, going F/T effectively changed nothing.

However, for whatever reason, you are all welcome aboard.

We do not invite folks in to "see the MH". They are invited in to have coffee, a margarita, etc.... Then if interest is shown in the interior - take the tour.

PS - Not inviting others in as "it isn't done" is probably the same excuse they use!

We never minded showing the MH to anyone. Have been a bit reluctant due to the aging carpeting we nursed along to get "one more season" out of. This summer we finally got it replaced so take off your shoes and come right in. Two of us, two furry dogs and six months at a time in it so it might be a mess but it is home.

Now days some people need time to hide the bodies, weapons and drugs

The majority of people are just a bore to me, and idle conversation drives me up the wall. If I invite someone in they just may overstay their 10 minute visit allowance and I'd have to get rude!

Ed, who tells it like it is.

You obviously haven't met us I show our MH all the time. Then again I'm not above asking someone else if I can see theirs. hubby would probably be more introverted without me, but I love getting to know folks.

I've never been invited to take a tour but on the other hand I've never invited anyone in either. Would you not fell like your bragging that you have a nice rig.
