I am taking a good working Norcold 1201LRIM out of the motorhome as the DW wants a residential fridge. It's coming out in about 10 days when the new one arrives. If anyone is interested in the Norcold let me know. We're in Tucson. It is NOT for sale so please don't delete this post.

Very nice gesture there, KIX. I'm sure someone will appreciate your offer.
We used our 1200 rim for 5 straight months on our trip out West on both propane and AC without so much of a hiccup. We just had the latest Norcold recall preformed so I think we'll stay with it...knocking on wood here. Bob

I hope someone takes advantage as it can't sit outside the coach where we are here in Tucson.

Kix ...I'll be very interested in the model of the new refrigerator, and whatever "adjustments" you have to do to install it ...particular how you secure it.

Paul, It's a Samsung RF197. About 70" tall x 24" deep (+doors) x 32 1/2". Some small metal brackets will be fabricated to fasten it to the cabinet it's mounted in.....top, bottom and rear bottom. The new one will (I hope) rest on the floor vs. the "shelf" the Norcold is mounted on. The reason I say, "I hope" is because I don't yet have the Norcold out and won't until the Samsung gets here. Maybe a few more days. IF I have to build a new "shelf" it will be less than 3" from floor height.
I have three friends that have installed the Samsung in their coaches. The one withthe Samsung the longest is a Monaco and he's had it for about 6 months. He's a FT and assures me he has had zero issues.
Hope all this helps you out.

That's a model I got size info from online a few months ago ...looks like a good choice other than being a couple of inches taller than I prefer. My under fridge shelf has central vac (true, it isn't much good...), LP detector & sound system woofer under the fridge. Measuring that one looks like I would loose as least three inches of that space.
What is under your refrigerator on the 40j ??

Paul, Same items under Norcold as you mentioned. I moved the vacuum into the space under the sink (angled door) where there was a drawer that we didn't use. The sub-woofer (if I reinstall it at all) will go into the newly created space above the reefer facing the front of the coach. The LPG detector will fit in the same wall but at the bottom.
For vacuum electric I tapped into the junction box under the sink.
The Samsung is 18c.f. vs. the 12 c.f. Norcold. Velcro will secure the freezer drawer and bungee cord the doors for travel.
Remind me in about 10 days and Iwill send you a picture of the installed Samsung

Put a "$100" sign on it and somebody will steal it within 15 minutes.
