Not my day!

Since we moved from Alberta to BC, I had to take the coach for an out of province inspection. That went ok, it passed and the $150 fee was reasonable. We left the shop and were driving down the road and Bang. I had left the compartment above the drivers seat open and my big heavy flashlight rolled out and landed on my head. Lump number 1! Went down to the insurance office because they have to do a visual sighting of the rig. Big ouchy on credit card and I'm on my way. I get home and get down on ground to put new licence plates on, and stand back up. Bang number 2, lump number 2 to follow shortly, %#&%$@& Ladder anyway. I'm in the house now and not going anywhere!!

Heh, heh. I hear ya. Sometimes when I have days like yours I just want to make it home in one piece! Sounds like you guys pay a heft inspection fee up there.

Some people just don't realise when they have been VERY lucky.
If that flashlight had missed your head and landed on the dashboard you might have caused some real damage and wrecked a perfectly good torch.
As it is you just have a sore head

We call them 'bonkers'. RVs are full of 'em.

Slickest: At least now you know that the torch might need to find a better place in the MH. Glad you made it home safely.

Standing up under the corner of the bedroom slide after closing the Utility Door will really put the lights out. Only did that once.

Somebody keeps opening the bedroom slide on my MH. My 5er didn't have one. I know I'm gonna draw blood one of these days on those sharp corners.

I have learned that it is better to get a solid bonk on the head than a glancing scrape on a sharp metal door corner. Last scrape resulted in 15 stitches...OUCH!

It just an unnecessary tax grab by our individual provinces.

I didn't have to pay the inspection fee on our TT, my son was the provincial inspector.
