Bad place for impact damage. This fiberglass edge just "tucks in" to the aluminum extrusion and then is "siliconed in place". Gel coat and other such repair kits will be useless because of how thin the material is on the radial curve. I would clean, clean and clean some more the surface around it and then put some aluminum roof tape at least 2" past the hole or crack. If there is a split or crack I would drill out the end of the crack to prevent the crack from getting longer. (1/8" will do the trick) This stuff is perm so be careful when you put it on. Try to clean down to the original gel coat then I would cover it with the tape and then a 3 layers of white roof coating. Don't be afraid to put the tape on the aluminum extrusion too. Most hardware stores will carry an aluminum self sticking roof tape and roof coating.

May your black water hose never break!
