Our coach is a little older and may be different from yours. Our diagnostic plug is under the dash just to the left of the steering column. There's a carpet covered vertical panel (footrest?) that must be removed to get to the plug. That area also houses the prewire for the CB. Our panel is held in place by screws through a bracket into the floor in 2 different places.

Hope this helps.

I believe that the port you are looking for is above the radiator. My MH has a Cat, but the plug is not a normal automotive OBDII port. It's round with a grey cover.

I thought they used a CAN bus instead of a OBD bus on diesel motor homes.

Yep, OBD-II doesn't work on heavy duty diesels. Your coach uses the J1939 protocol, which is pretty much standard in heavy duty applications. Your OBD-II scanner won't work on it. The least expensive option to get J-1939 codes would be to get Silverleaf's VMS-PC software and adaptor cable. You can use your laptop to monitor your system as well as many other features. RVupgrades handles Silverleaf products.
