Odd Undulating Underneath My Foot While Driving....?????

Just recently purchased a Fleetwood Bounder 30E and have been slowly going through all of the systems and getting everything ready for a cross country trip. Finally nearing the end of my checks and I was driving it home from the penny shop when I noticed the floor under my left foot (I was driving) was moving up and down every once in a while as if it were being pushed up from one side. I freaked out a little and when i got home felt under the carpet expecting the worst but didn't feel much. Then I looked underneath as best as I could and saw the just about where my foot was is a distinct seem where there is a gap of about 1/8" that is obviously intentional as there is an angle bracket on the edge of each side. So i'm assuming this is the play that I was feeling.

My first question is should I be overly concerned and get this looked at (two shops have now done work and checked the vehicle out/taken it for a ride and both have said it's in good condition)? My second is why is there this "floating" area under the drivers seat?

I posted video here to help

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.
