Old steel wrapped cable wire

Hey fellow RV'rs, I'm wanting to replace the 9 yr old steel wrapped rj-6 cable wire and replace with copper wound current stuff. It appears as tho all of this existing is in the flexible plastic conduit so on the surface it looks like a pretty easy job...has anyone done this before and if so how did it go. I'm in a 06 monaco diplomat PDQ 40 ft. TIA

Isn't RG6 still the standard? Quad shield seems to be very limited. Seems that any upgrade would include HDMI.
