I have a 1998 coachman mirada with a onan microlite 4000 generator. Recently, I can start the generator and it will run for about 5 minutes and then shuts off. It will not restart until completely cool. There is plenty of fuel in the tank. Pulled fuel line off right after it shut down and hit the start switch to verify fuel pump was working (it works). There is plenty of oil in it (filled completely). I have read a couple of forums that state to pull the wire off the oil level sensor and see if it will start. How do you pull this wire without pulling the entire unit out?
