would anyone have any idea why my onan will just out of the blue decide to leak about 4 tablespoons of coolant on the ground.

i have checked the cap and its dry around the fitting, as is all hose clamps i can get to to
last winter the drain hose bib was loose and when the temps go COLD it dripped a few times

whats weird is the drip will come back for no apparent reason
last time it ran before this drip was two weeks ago,
we did have a large drop in atmospheric pressure on Saturday when it rained cats and chickens

funny thing is it will go weeks and no drip, then next day its got a wet spot on the ground.
if i run it and let it get warmed up and shut her off, there is no drips or leaks.
short of me taking it in and having it dropped and opened up, anybody have an idea.
thanks

i took off the access plate for the lifting hook and shot some video
everything is DRY

have a few more places to stick the video camera and will post some shots

my reservoir tank has not lost any fluid for two days, and the radiator is still full, but alas there is fluid on the ground,
a service call might be close.

well the coolant recover tank dropped 1/2 last night
so toady i removed the drivers side access panel, mind you my genny is not on slides to roll out of a bay. so with about 6" of side clearance i proceeded to gain access
I found the oil fill tube that goes through the coolant tank is leaking at the metal tube and plastic tank interface.
really weird, as soon as i removed the oil tube hose it really started dripping, i don't think any got into the oil, but i will see if cummins will do an oil sample when they change the coolant tank.
