Onan Emerald I genset stopped running

While running the generator today, it stopped after about 3/4 of an hour and will not restart.

I have LPG in the tank, it turns over fine on the starter but there seems to be no spark.

I'm hunting for A. tips on if I did something stupid like is there a reset switch I missed and B. A wiring diagram because I think I might tear it out tomorrow and diagnose the fault on the bench. Its killing my back trying to grovel round in the generator bay.

Any info gratefully received.

Thanks for the links. I can't find anything that pertains to the problem in hand but there's a bunch of other good stuff there.

I managed to find the Onan Emerald I genset manual in PDF form and have the wiring diagrams etc. When I removed the unit from the coach I immediately saw that the capacitor for the points or the ignition coils was disconnected. Also what seems to the crank TDC sensor was disconnected. I'm assuming stuff shook about and came loose.

I plugged everything in that seemed like it should be in but putting the unit back in again i still had no spark. This is enormously bugging because we were supposed to be heading out tonight for a week away on a full family test.

I may study the Onan manual to see why the heck the control board needs to be so darn complicated. I hope its not the board that's died. Gotta pull it all out again and run more test.
