One or more roadside assist coverages?

Just wondering how many people have more than one RV Roadside Assist plans? I know there is debate if having any is worth it, but after reading good and bad about most providers, is it prudent to have two? We have a 38’ Diesel and the chance of me fixing anything is very limited ( to say it nicely). Thanks in advance for your thoughts. Chuck

Don't see the reason too have 2 of them. You will hate life if you don't have at least 1 of them 😂

Call up a heavy tow operator and ask how much it would cost to remove the driveshaft and tow the MH 100 miles. That should answer your question.

I have Coach-Net; one tow I didn't have to pay for covered 10 years of Coach-Net.

I have both AAA and towing from both our insurance and warranty companies.

I could combine them if needs be for a long tow.

We carry Coach Net for the motor home, have AAA for general around town use and both of our personal vehicles are new enough that they still have the manufacture's tow assist. So I guess we inadvertently have four.

I carry GS roadside, and tow coverage from my insurance ($12) only concern is wording. Will provide one hour of mechanic to effect repairs OR tow to nearest suitable ....... "OR" means if the GS wrench doesn't fix it my insurance will reimburse me for the tow..

Per the AAA website, some "regions" do not honor roadside assistance calls. You must locate a wrecker service yourself, then submit bills to AAA. Check with your local office to keep me honest.

This is copied from Consumer Reports website:
"
Did you know?

A tow could boost your car insurance premium

Using an insurance company’s roadside assistance or towing benefits too often could affect your rates (and not in a nice way) or even your eligibility for coverage. Some auto insurers consider your calls for roadside assistance to be negatives, just like accident claims. State Farm, the nation’s largest insurer, says the use of roadside assistance is a very small factor in calculating rates or considering a driver’s insurability. Some insurers report roadside assistance calls made under their policies to ChoicePoint, an Alpharetta, Ga., company that compiles claims information for the insurance industry. Nationwide Insurance and Geico say they report the information but don’t use it in their policy decisions. Allstate says it doesn’t report usage by members of the Allstate Motor Club, but it does report towing claims made under its insurance policies."
