One Way Valve
Does anyone know where the one way valve is that prevents water from being pumped out of the city water inlet. I have a 2012 Renegade Explorer.
I don't see one on the hose reel or behind it where the plumbing enters the interior.

On mine, and all my previous RVs it was always built into the city water inlet itself.

Yes it is in the city water inlet.
The hose washer is a screen washer, IF you remove the screen and washer you will be looking at the valve.

My check valve is also in the water entry hose fitting behind a screen/washer.
However if you have a built in hose reel you don't have the same type of water entry... you may have a either a brass, (or plastic), check valve in the water line behind the reel?

I didn't know that, but sure makes sense. Thanks for the information.

Thanks for the picture Mel. I too have an issue and I have the hose reel so this is helpful.

One way valve
Thanks to all who have replied. There is a brass fitting on the reel where the hose is attached. I thought that might be it. I disconnected the hose and stuck a pen inside but didn't feel anything. Maybe it is further back. I will have another go at it when my back heels up. I can't do much bending and contorting to get a good look.

You also can get a hose cap or plug at most hardware stores that will allow you to seal it off for sure.
Leaving it uncovered attracts critters...

That's a good idea! At least until I get a chance to fix or relax the check valve

I use a hose shut off valve in my hose inlet for now to keep the pump from pumping my fresh water back out. The valve needs to be replaced though after I find it (and get around to it). Works for now.
