If you want to find "current" fuels prices check out
GasBuddy.com - Find Low Gas Prices in the USA and Canada. I registered and post the price per gal every visit to the gasoline pumps.

This is a good one for Pilot and Flying J diesel fuel prices

Pilot Flying J - Complete Pricing List

I have it in my phone so I can check while on the road. Sometimes I just do not fill up in a State because they are too high. The next State can be way lower.

We use as buddy and find prices vary from county to county out west. The indians sell much cheaper. I was told they dont have to pay taxes on the fuel. Has anyone been checking on the gulf oil drilling? It is unbelieveable. Our government has only issued one permit. That is so they can say they are doing something about prices. They say thay have to study and make sure there will not be another spill. At the sametime they are issueing permits to the chinese to drill while americans can not.

My guess is that if Obama announced that the US Govt was issuing multiple drilling permits (ANWAR & GULF) we would see an immediate drop in prices, or at least prices would start to de-escalate.

I like to see the colored map on Gas Buddy so I know if the area where I am headed is cheaper or more expensive, but I seem to find more stations listed on Gas Prices - MSN Autos.

Gas Buddy is great. If you have an internet connection while heading down the road the co-pilot can use the map to find the lowest prices prior to your next fuel stop. Usually pretty accurate, too.

Actually, OPEC announced a $4/barrel price drop on 4/12 and our prices went up at the pump. The problem is that Wall St. commodity speculators have tied up the oil futures, so blame JP Morgan for the price at the pump or the SEC for not reinstating the rules that limit speculation.
