Outside TV Cover Sticks

what should I use on the rubber seal on the outside tv to keep from sticking. Have thought about vaseline silicone spray or ???

what is recommended

Clean it with soap and water. Then a lot of people use baby powder.

Don't use a petroleum based product on the rubber. Any rubber product not designed to withstand petroleum products can disintegrate from its use. Something like 303 Aerospace protectant should work as it is not petroleum based.
