Pacific Pride fueling network

Just a note to all that Pacific Pride as a fueling network is not a place to save our hard earned money. We stopped in Holbrook, AZ and passed a station offering diesel at 3.95 per gallon for our Pacific Pride. We just received our statement and learned we spent $4.32 per gallon.

Pacific Prides answer is they don't control the franchise prices and there is no reliable means to know the price being charged before pumping at their card lock stations.

I also had Pacific Pride and had to phone the Lady in Washington to find out the price of fuel at the station I was going to use . If the savings were worthwhile I would have done it, but every time I called their prices were too high. No Pride No Mo

We all seem to have the same experience. I only got the card because it seemed like in several places PP controlled the pumps, so I hold on to the card just in case. First use was at a dark freight yard in Lancaster CA, pumps wouldn't work, wasted an hour fooling with them and never felt safe. Second use was up the road in Mojave. Same experience as the OP.

Quit using Pacific Pride years ago for the very same reason.

Just used PP here in WA. Diesel in the surrounding stations ranged from $4.35 to $4.49. I paid $4.06 at PP.

When using PP, it pays to give a call and check prices where you are contemplating filling up as prices vary from day to day.

I have never been charged more than I was quoted the day of the fill up.
