Wait a second...... many or most of the 40+ owners were parked right beside you and you didn't notice. Their MH was left at the park they stayed in last night.

Yes, most of the behemoths pull toads so they don't have to worry about parking situations like that one....

Not being funny, but yes, I think it must be law. It applies at least everywhere in the park. You'll be driving and the car in front of you locks up the brakes. I mean full blown panic stop. They thought they saw a bear and they stop, park, and get out while still in the lane. Traffic backed up forever. I was going about 30mph, almost plowed a car in the rear when he locked them up. No good reason, except we were next to a pretty water attraction. Learned my lesson real fast. Extra, extra space between you and the guy in front.

Well "... I think it must be law...." Is a little different from "It's the law." :-)

Besides, you're talking about INSIDE the park, which is Federal road and the Rangers rule. Of course, huge numbers of tourists are numnutz and they just stop wherever they want, but also the Rangers hold up traffic regularly and often so the traffic won't interfere with or endanger the wildlife as a herd of some kind slooooooowly drifts across the road. This is as it should be. Inside the park the animals have absolute priority-- else, why have a park at all? Imagine the chaos if the Rangers started ticketing every oblivious tourist who stopped in the road to snap a pic of a bison 200 yards away!

All this is the prime reason that, since we have the flexibility, we never go to popular National Parks in season!
What, never?
No, never.
What, never?
Well, hardly ever!
