itgeekgal,
Wow, do we have some similarities or what? Look at the front of your home vs the front of ours. A minor difference is, your entry way is just a tad wider and, your RV garage lights are lower than ours. As fara as I can see, that's pretty much the differences.

I can't keep up between this thread and the other one, so might as well update here since it is "fresh".

Materials were delivered two weeks ago. Grading was done last week.

I also have a Morton. Hopefully the schedule allows them to maintain work until finished. They had significant delays to include a trip (Bahamas) for the workers when mine was being built. Needless to say I was not happy as it extended my construction loan. The building is very nice once done. I am looking for have the floor finished this month. I did not have Morton do the floor. You can see my previous photos in this thread. I will update once finished. Still a work in progress. You will love having your 5th inside.

We had one more delay that I approved. The PM called me a day or so before we were supposed to start and explained that they had just given a start date to another customer behind me that he was very upset about. He told them the only thing he could do was ask me if we would trade. No issues on my end. It won't ruin my life like was apparently going to do to the other guy.

At any rate. Work started today (4days ahead of the latest agreed date). Guys have gotten the piers set as of now. Had some delays with the inspector before they could get the concrete truck out. All that is done now.

Looks great! Congratulations on the progress. Fun to document the process. I also took pictures during the process. They (Electric lines, cat walk in attic)
have come in handy when deciding how to do follow up work.

Update on my progress- Emptied the building for the floor. Forms and ground prepared. Trucks are scheduled to arrive at 0630! Putting a 6 inch slab inside 42x52 and outside 40x40. That is a lot of cement! Guess I will not be replacing the fence this year!

[QUOTE=head gamez;2998100]Day 3... 2 man crew!

Amazing how they have this down to a science. Not like the old barn raising years ago. Thanks for posting the progress. It is exciting to watch them go up. I like the side cover roof you have. You will find that very handy I am sure. Keep the pictures coming!

Thanks!

When we started this process, we had an older (2002) 36' DP. Thought we would have plenty of room. Now that we have the Fiver, it is already getting full before it is built.

The original plan was to use the porch for a covered hitting zone for my son. Now, I believe the enclosed trailer will be parked there so we will have to build a stand along cage for him.

Day 4.... 2 man crew that knocked off a little early. Can't blame them. They have worked hard. I'm hoping I catch them on Friday and cook them each a big steak on the Kamado!
