Looks like you had a good day to pour. Now the hurry up and wait until you can fill it up! Thanks for posting the updates photos.

Holy smokes that is a big building! Spared no expense with the heated floors. I also like the finish on the floor. Can you provide more information on the finish? I am still looking for a product that will hold up and from what I am seeing you have found something that appears to be working. Thank you!

RTinVA. Thanks for the compliments. The floor has two coats of epoxy and one topcoat of urethane. I purchased it at legacyindustrial.net I love it. It is pretty durable and easy to keep clean. Here are a couple pictures while installing the epoxy.

Thank you for posting the progress pictures of the floor and information on where to find the materials. My wife would like me to do this in our building. I believe it would be nice to go with a light color as you did so it reflects the lighting. It looks great!

It was nice on Tuesday, just a little cool. Looks like it will be cold this weekend too! We are heading out to a local campground for a baseball tournament nearby. Games at 8:30 and 10:30 on Saturday. Will be starting in the mid 30's. Baseball weather!

I love mowing mine too. Only 2.5 acres, but good quiet time for sure!

I mow with a Bobcat.

Electricians are here today. I'm guessing they will work for two days and then the garage door guy will show up.

Still have to get Duke Power out to hook it up.

Do you have to pay Duke power to run the power to your barn?

We are in Indiana and we are almost at that point and we have Duke here also. I am just curious

Since we are having a meter installed and it will be a separate monthly charge for the barn, no. They are doing the underground work for free. Of course the minimum monthly payment of $19/ month ensures they get paid for it! I would have rather had it from the house or existing garage, but the panel in the existing garage is tied to the house and the wire feeding it is not big enough. To get it from the house to the barn would have been a major project with all of the obstacles in the way.

The 900 pound (literally) garage door is up. The crew will be back Monday to install the opener, as will the county for the final inspection. After that, it is up to the power company to supply the electrons and me to do the landscaping.
