Pipe Insulation 101 Curing Rattles etc.

Here's a "wonder product" and it's simply known as foam pipe insulation. Available at any Lowe's, Home Depot or Hardware Store, this product has the ability to cure a host of problems encountered by RVers. With a little creativity any remedy is possible. Here's just a few. Click image for larger version

i use em for wiper protectors as well
they are inexpensive enough that if they get lost or blow off its no great loss
I also use them in the lower slide seal area in winter to act as one more barrier to cold wind

i have put them around pipes to stop the vibrations as well

When in outside storage, I use them to protect my windshield wipers. I also use one to wrap around my plexiglass entrance door pull up handle. I had a vibration noise caused by running my water pump. I wraped the water lines going to the water pump with the foam insulation and no more noise.
