My 09 Phaeton is leaking rain water through the rear AC unit into the duct and it is running out the 2 rear AC vents and onto the bed. I've had this MH about 1-1/2 years and this problem just started. It's definitely rain water and not condensate. I don't think it is coming by the gasket between the roof and the AC because it is only leaking from the duct work vents. Any advice for a fix is appreciated.

Hi JimmyP,
Take off the cover and carefully look where the water could be entering the ceiling. Since this has just started, do not rule out the seal. With the cover off, re-snug the bolts holding the unit on the roof. Consider putting Eterna-Bond around the base of the unit. If you look at the cover you can tell where the water might be getting into the ceiling. There are not many entry points. This is one leak you may be able to re-create with a garden hose.

With the cover off as Gary said you may find water collected in pan of AC and as your fan turns its blowing water down into your ductwork. The pan should have weep holes that maybe plugged and need to be cleaned and opened.
Some AC's have drain tubes that become plugged also.

If at all possible, I'd go straight to Red Bay . . . they'll take care of you the right way.
