Hi there. I too retired as a M/Sgt in 1966. We have been traveling in our 2011 Allegro Bus for 5 years, but, prior to that we owed a Travel Supreme for 13 years. Our traveling days are coming to and end now that I am 88 years old.
Our bus is for sale with this being our final year. Hopefully there is a market for a bus that is in exceptional shape.

I retired from DM in Tuscon. Served 11 years in South Dakota also served in Japan, Okinawa and McDill, Fl.

Retirement .....has been a good thing.

A whole new world

For 16 years I have had 4 different motor homes and recently sold my 2004 National Seabreeze 33 ft that I bought new and now have a 2017 Forest River 22 ft Micro Lite travel trailer. I had a close call on a windy mountain road where my life flashed before my eyes and I did not want to drive the motor home again! When a trailer hauling several cars comes flying down in the opposite direction on 'your' side of the road, it is very scary. My side mirror got broken and I was lucky that was all that happened. We came out of it with our lives and that was it for me.
I have only taken out the travel trailer once so far and it is different but not as large and I feel safer in my truck once I saw the construction of the motor home. Not much there to save you...
