Put us in the Angel Soft 2 ply group. I use a macerator (Sani-Con) to dump and have never had a problem.

Yesterday, I thought I dumped all my Black, then raised my front jacks so the front tires were about 1" off the ground and got ~5 more gallons out of my black tank. I used my blocks and got the front tires ~1' off the ground and got another ~5 gallons out of my black tank. My driveway is only ~5 grade. I will now use my blocks and jacks when I dump.

My black still shows full, but the sensors are notorious for showing the wrong level. I can see the bottom of my black tank thru the toilet opening. I use Thetford packets every time I dump and sometimes throw one into the grey tank.

We belonged to a private club that had their own campground on 11 acres. Had to quit using the old "glory holes" and install a sand filtration system. As part of that OR state required us to hire a certified/licensed sanitary engineer. While onsite with him during construction I asked about formaldehyde use. He said it wasn't a problem, it breaks down in the system and poses no problem. The problem comes when a campground full of people empty their tanks at the same time (like a Sunday afternoon), that can overwhelm a system. Otherwise it's safe to use, so we do.

"glory holes" ??? Poor choice of words. Google "glory holes", but not when any kids are around.
