Power Gear Jack Won't Work

I have Power Gear jacks on a 2003 Fleetwood Fiesta. One rear jack will not work. It make a high pitch whining sound when I push the button but does nothing. I have switched the wires underneath from one rear jack to the other rear jack and the jack then operates so I know it is not the module on the pump. Any other ideas?

I had a recent problem that my front jacks would not come down. They replaced the RH and LH sensors and the front jack electric coil and valve. Hope this gives you some ideas.

If these are electric jacks, and it's making a "High pitched whine" (I assume the other jacks make more of a low pitched grinding sound) the motor is running free.

This may be a shear pin, or a gear out of position or a busted gear

If they are hydraulic jacks, Disregard this post

If they are hydraulic jacks, there is noting in the jack itself to make a whine. It's just a hydraulic ram - the pump is back at the reservoir.

I know Gary, hence the assumption they are electric jacks.

However.. There is another assumption (which I won't bother with) as I know you have come across those cases in the past too. I'd rather not confuse this issue though.
