Has anyone had problems with Power Gear's electric leveling jacks. Current problem is "jacks down" light won't go out. Several times I have sheared pins.

Make certain that the small round magnet is in the leg and if the jack has been dissembled that the magnet is facing the side with the wiring chase where the switch is located. Switches rarely go bad but may; so test them is all of the above is correct.

I linked you to a thread in the Fleetwood forum on another post you made re Power Gear. You can also email PG. info@powergearus.com. They are very responsive and will help you solve your problem.

Common problem if the ATF fluid level is low, below the sensor in the reservoir. Of course, check fluid when jacks are in the "UP" position.

My lights get stuck on the panel from time to time and the change meaning position. The remedy I have found is to unplug the jack that is blinking and rehook the plug. I think moisture is getting in so what I plan on doing the next time I get down there is fill each of the four plugs up with die-electric greese.

Are yours Power Gear Elec. or Attwood elec? It is a good idea to do as you say. I am just curious as to which system you have.

I have a 08 discovery with electric jacks and they would not go down. Lights just flashed on panel. I removed the panel and unplugged the wiring harness and plugged back on. all OK ever since.
