Wow is it ever confusing to find out the p/n for a replacement slide motor. The slide does come in, but during the up portion it is very slow and has to be raised in short bursts. After getting up the slide comes in, albeit slowly.

Any help would be appreciated on identification, as well as a supplier.

Motor Home:
2003 Fleetwood Bounder 35r on Ford chassis.

Existing slide motor:
P/N: 13-1109
S/N: 270990

It is a center drive motor on the main slider. From the chart I am assuming the replacement part is 523900 or 520819 or 1010000010.

Anyone with any more accurate info let me know. Also a good place to go to purchase a new/used one would be appreciated.

Before replacing a very expensive motor I'd check all electrical connections, condition of battery and lubricate, lubricate, lubricate.

Sounds like it is dragging as it lifts and pulls in. Soon it will blow the fuse or breaker. Most slides have a "height, floor clearence" adjustment and rollers of some type. With the slide partially in a few inches, lift up the carpet leading edge and look for rollers. With the slide out, look at the underside for heavy dragging marks or damage.

I agree with the above posters. First, check for wear patterns and/or deep drag marks in the roller paths. Then I'd lube anything an everything that has a bearing surface. Then I'd check ALL 12VDC connections and plugs for cleanliness and tightness. All this failing, I'd replace the motor. I had a bedroom slide motor/gearbox go south but it had a broken worm drive so a new motor was required. The only downside is the setup is Lippert junque so it might last another five years. Good luck with your project.

Thanks for your responses. I did check the perimeter of the slide and there are no drag or wear marks. I had lubed all of the moving parts with slide lubricant, and took apart and cleaned the electrical contacts. Still slow on the uplift. So I emailed Fleetwood with the FIN and they had a 10-1109 in stock. Cost was 350 + 50 for UPS. Guess that price is not too bad compared with some other motor models.

I am skeptical that the motor is the problem. It would be a rare type of failure indeed for the motor to run but only well enough to slowly move the slide.
