Power Gear slide not cutting off and shearing bolt

1999 National Sea View front slide by Power Gear When retracting slide and it hits the limit of retraction, it would always shut off the motor automatically. Suddenly does not now and will go ahead and shear the bolt or pin, usually the bolt. What is the problem and the solution.
Thanks in advance.

I'm not an expert, but I believe there is a limit switch in the system that is either faulty or needs to be adjusted. I'm sure someone with more experience with this problem will chime in soon.

Here are some tech documents pick out yours and read.
My slide control has a pot that you adjust so when slide hits the wall added current draw cause's control to stop motor thus the slide.
May want to check Battery & ground connections suppling the control unit.

I buy shear bolts by the dozen

Power Gear does not use limit switches.. I am told they use a current sensor.

I'm not all that sure they do..

But if anyone knows where the )()@*# control box is I'd be glad to try adjusting mine.

007,
I tried the tech docs, but could not get there, do you have any other way to get to the docs?

I did get the tech docs site to finally open. It does look like my problem might lie within my current sensor card or the switch. The problem I'm having is determining if the board is bad or the switch. If I have a problem with the current sensor, it only exists when comming in, going out works fine. Is it possible that one side of the switch is good and the other side is bad? I hate to change the whole board if it is a switch. The docs can be found on powergearus.com under the tech cat.
