You shouldnt have to go to Powergear for parts or even a dealer. Try a local hydraulic shop, They will probably have what you need or can get it for you.or even do the rebuild for you if need be. More than likely much cheaper than an RV dealer. Nothing unique about the jacks on a MH, just standard hydraulic rams.

I agree with AZ, you should find a hyd. shop. They can match up the seals, and if need be re -chrome the shafts. This is a lot cheaper that any RV shop or total replacement. I work with hyd. cyls. all the time, this is not a hard job. Just may be heavy.

Yes, just call the number on their site and it will confirm they don't sell to RV owners.

I agree there is nothing special about them other than the mounts and foot on the rod. I'm going to a hydraulic shop today to see if they can help me. I will post what I find out.

Hey folks,

I wound up taking my coach to a local hydraulic shop to get the right rear jack rebuilt. As I related in my original posts, they saved me about $1,700 over taking it to a RV dealer. They had the seals in stock. I'm not knowledgable enough to tell you they were Powergear seals or ones they matched having the same specs.

If Powergear no longer ships directly to RVers, you can probably get them from a hydraulic shop. You may have to pay a little more. But the real cost savings is in labor.

denchs; I would venture to say that most rv dealers do not do the repairs themselves. They have a local hyd. shop they send them to and then charge full retail to their customers. Nothing wrong with that, its just that we can save some money by going directly to the repair shop or DIY. Who doesn't want to save money? Happy things worked out for you.

Believe. Call the 800 number and see what you get. PG will not even sell to repair/service centers. I had to order direct from Fleetwood and could not get just a part I had to order the complete assembly.
