Good info Larry, thanks. I have been back and forth deciding if I want to kick out the bucks for that system. The issue of having to send the sensors back to the company to change out the batteries kinda bugs me.......

Check with Melissa there...the batteries are supposed to be good for 3-4 YEARS, so at $25 a pop every 4 yrs time 12 wheels could be worse!

Go to Wal Mart in the camping goods department and get a plastic egg crate. Mark sections in it for each wheel on your coach and car. Remove the sensors when not in use by placing them in to the section marked for that wheel. Makes the batteries last much longer. The sensors only transmit when installed and pressure on them.

Won't work for me....
My dog absolutely LOVES eggs, and he's figured out an egg-carton must be what creates those tasty gems, so it's a tussle to get keep him away from the cartons (filled or empty). I found that the new silver Sharpee markers work great. I label the tire-senders by the coded location and then store them all in a bag when not in use. Easy to read which goes where.
Was going thru my ritual of screwing-on the senders one day when my campground neighbor wandered over and asked what I was doing. He listened to the explanation and then asked witha straight face: "But why does it matter which goes on which tire? Ain't ya gonna wanna stop when ANY of them read low or flat?" Gotta love native intelligence sometimes.

The nice thing about keeping the sensors straight is if one signals low air you will know immediately which one is low. If its just 15-20 pounds you couldn't tell which one just by looking at it. I, too, use the egg crate to keep them straight.
